Sheryl A. Bourgeois, Ph.D., Appointed to Lead Saint John’s Health Center Foundation

On May 15 following an extensive national search, the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation Board of Trustees appointed Sheryl Bourgeois, Ph.D., as the Foundation’s new President and CEO. Sheryl comes to the Foundation with more than three decades of nonprofit leadership experience in health care, education, and academic medicine.
“I am honored to lead an organization that has the distinguished history, community commitment, remarkable support and legacy of the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation,” says Bourgeois.
Dr. Bourgeois holds a BA in English from UCLA, an MA and PhD in education from Claremont Graduate University. She was the 2013 recipient of the John Grenzebach Award for Outstanding Research, presented by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
