A Perfect Fit for Breast Health

With the support of campaign funding, we will create an interdisciplinary clinic that encompasses all aspects of breast health, from treatment of benign issues to cancer. With the introduction of new procedures so that patients can be diagnosed within days, rather than weeks and dedicated personal nurse navigators to accompany each patient through the overwhelming process, we aim to ease the way for our patients.

Your support will enhance our ability to perform oncoplastic surgery- an innovative treatment that combines breast cancer surgery with the dignity of cosmetic reconstruction in one procedure. In addition, we will also introduce new methods of cancer care, such as intraoperative radiation therapy, a treatment that both reduces side effects and eliminates the need to return to the hospital for repeated treatments. Through the Power of Partnership Campaign, our goal for patients is breast health, dignity, and enduring friendships.

My approach is to get to know my patients and they get to know me. It becomes a lifelong friendship.” Dr. Janie Grumley Surgical Breast Oncologist and Director of the Margie Petersen Breast Center
